Three years ago, BC Parks teamed up with the BC Wildfire Service to conduct a prescribed burn in the Chittenden Meadows area of Skagit Valley Park. This endeavor wouldn’t have been possible without the invaluable support and knowledge shared by the Stó:lō, Nlaka’pamux, and Syilx peoples, as well as the dedicated efforts of staff and students from BCIT. Most long weekend require a minimum of three night bookings. For May long weekend, the minimum nights are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
